RANCHO DE LA LUNA RECORDS a media company

 

We are proud to announce that Rancho De La Luna Records been established as a media company to showcase some of the greatest music recorded at legendary high desert studio RANCHO DE LA LUNA.

 

RANCHO DE LA LUNA RECORDING STUDIO was founded in 1993 by Fred Drake and David Catching, and has chronicled such diverse artists as: Daniel Lanois, Foo Fighters, Arctic Monkeys, Iggy Pop, Queens of the Stone Age, and a multitude of other phenomenal musicians/bands.

 

RANCHO DE LA LUNA RECORDS is a label for producers and artists alike, a place to grow and foster new talent, as well as preserve and celebrate music catalogs and related archives.

 

The first release for RANCHO DE LA LUNA RECORDS is a re-release of David Catching’s recent solo album SHARED HALLUCINATIONS PT.1. This is an album full of original songs that were written by David Catching and recorded by Rancho family and friends: Liela Moss (The Duke Spirit), Joey Castillo, Mark Lanegan, Gary Wertz, Barrett Martin, Abby Travis, Jonathan Hischke, Troy Van Leeuwen, Sean Wheeler, Missi Pyle, Alain Johannes and many more.

 

The newest releases by Mojave Lords and earthlings? will soon follow, along with complete discographies, lyrics, posters, and photographs from both bands.

 

This is just the beginning. We have some great projects planned, and a lot of extraordinary material to present. Stay tuned!
